Admission Requirements: The computer science page states only that transfer applicants must meet 'the admission requirements for the Faculty of Science' and otherwise points to the general application guide; the specifics below come from the Faculty of Science's Saskatchewan high-school pathway. Final admission needs Saskatchewan Secondary standing with English Language Arts 30, Pre-Calculus 30, and two of Biology 30, Calculus 30, Chemistry 30, Computer Science 30, Earth Science 30 or Physics 30. Unlike the faculty's other majors, Computer Science requires a minimum admission average of 80% (raised from 70% starting Fall 2025) rather than the standard 70%, and the Faculty of Science does not offer a qualifying-year program for Computer Science, so applicants short of 80% are not admitted conditionally. International applicants must also meet English proficiency: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0), TOEFL iBT 83 (4.5 overall from 21 January 2026), PTE Academic 59, CAEL 60, or Duolingo 120.

Application Deadline:Domestic applicants to the University of Regina apply for Fall 2027 entry with a recommended early deadline of 15 March 2027 for best course selection and a final new-applicant deadline of 15 August 2027; Winter 2027-28 entry has an early deadline of 1 November 2026 and a final deadline of 15 December 2026, and Spring/Summer 2027 entry closes 15 April 2027. International (study-permit) applicants share the same final deadlines as domestic students for each term but have no separate early deadline. Numerous named programs, including Nursing, Social Work, Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work, Indigenous Fine Arts and Indigenous Education, carry their own earlier deadlines instead of the general dates.
