Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to Customized English Plus requires applicants to be at least 18 years old by the program's start date and to have a basic knowledge of English; the program does not publish a specific IELTS, TOEFL or other standardized score threshold on its own page. Instead, the English Language Centre offers prospective students a free ELC Basic English Test so they can confirm their English level meets this minimum before registering. International applicants use the same portal and face identical dates, since UVic publishes no separate international deadline. UVic treats these as fixed annual dates rather than rolling admission, though it warns any programme can close early without notice.
