This certificate is designed for non-francophones, or for francophones from minority or multilingual settings, who want to master French for university study and professional environments. The 30-credit program comprises ten required courses covering grammar, oral expression, academic reading and writing, and a professional portfolio, with up to 15 credits of prior learning eligible for recognition. It is offered full-time or part-time, letting students set their own pace, and delivery includes on-campus, distance, and hybrid formats. Teaching draws on recent research in language acquisition, with an emphasis on developing precise oral and written competencies and applying them in disciplinary and workplace contexts. Admission is offered in the Fall and Winter terms.
