Overview
The Information Technology and Applied Systems - Business Information Technology Systems (ITAS-BITS) Diploma is a two-year, full-time credential delivered at Vancouver Island University's Nanaimo campus. Structured as two four-month terms per year plus a 120-hour practicum placement after the first academic year, the program covers software development, cybersecurity, and business technology, with early integration of artificial intelligence and large language models.
