Hons in Chemistry

Chemistry is an Honours Specialization offered by the Department of Chemistry in Western University's Faculty of Science. The module builds on the department's Major module in Chemistry and lets students specialize in a particular area of the discipline through additional upper-year coursework beyond the major requirements. It includes Chemistry 4491E, an independent research project typically completed in the final year, in which the student works within one of the research laboratories in the Department of Chemistry alongside faculty supervisors.
