This program leads to a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology, offered bilingually by Glendon College on a full-time or part-time basis, with entry in fall only. It is the first and only bilingual BSc in Biology in Southern Ontario, taught by internationally recognized professors specializing in ecology, animal behaviour, entomology and conservation biology. Students examine genetics, human health, biodiversity, evolution and environmental sustainability, with coursework available in English and French. The curriculum draws on Glendon's small-class, liberal-arts setting to combine laboratory and field-based learning with the campus's bilingual academic environment, giving students close contact with faculty across both languages of instruction. The program suits students who want to combine a life-science degree with bilingual study, developing scientific training alongside French-language proficiency.
