Program details

Overview

This program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), offered full-time at the Keele Campus by the Faculty of Health as an accelerated second-entry route for applicants who already hold university-level credit. Admission is for Fall, upper-year entry only. Students study health assessment, pathophysiology, pharmacology and the Canadian healthcare system across six terms, leading to eligibility for Registered Nurse designation through the College of Nurses of Ontario. Optional specialized streams are available in High Acuity and Critical Care, Mental Health and Addiction, or Nursing Leadership and Care of the Older Adult. The program suits students who have completed at least two years of university study in a related field and want to complete a nursing degree on an accelerated timeline rather than through direct entry from high school.
