MA/MS in Data Science

This Master's degree in Data Science is taught entirely in English and aims to deepen knowledge of statistics and information technology at an advanced level. Students are trained in an interdisciplinary way, combining classical statistical methods with programming and computing. Students arrive with differing first degrees, so the programme begins with a common foundation phase that aligns their knowledge. A profile phase follows, in which students choose a specialisation from a defined module pool that includes advanced machine learning. The detailed structure is set out in the subject regulations. The four-semester degree can only be started in the winter semester. It suits graduates who want analytical careers or further research in data-driven fields. Graduates often move into analytical roles that require both statistical reasoning and software skills.
