This port technology management programme trains interdisciplinary marine engineering specialists to keep ports running smoothly, applying transport, port engineering and cargo-handling technologies alongside computerised information systems and logistics solutions, including the development of intelligent, autonomous ports and e-logistics. Core subjects move through materials engineering, mathematics, engineering graphics with CAD, general chemistry and theoretical mechanics, building toward the analysis and design of port technology management systems. Students learn to apply digital design and data-management methodologies, solve logistics and port organisation problems using laboratory equipment and simulators, and weigh the social, economic and environmental impact of their engineering decisions. The university applies cumulative assessment throughout the semester, combining mid-term tests, individual work and laboratory reports with final examinations or the defence of a thesis or project. Graduates can control and manage port technology and maritime logistics systems, select appropriate port equipment and tools, and apply the principles of the circular economy and artificial intelligence to port digitalisation.
