MA/MS in Performance Analysis of Sport

Open to holders of a bachelor's degree in biomedical, physical or social sciences, this two-year programme trains sports professionals and entrepreneurs able to carry out high-level analysis of sports performance grounded in current sports science and apply it to professional and recreational sport. Modules cover sports biomechanics, applied match-performance analysis, the analysis of match-performance structure, modern coaching innovations, motion analysis and motor control, and an applied research internship, finishing with a thesis. Students build the ability to biomechanically analyse movement technique using both quantitative and qualitative methods, assess game tactics, strategy and injury risk, evaluate the decision-making of referees and the performance of coaches, and analyse psychological aspects of performance such as aggression and concentration, applying these skills to both individual and team sports and to the development of sports-technology and business ideas.
