MA/MS in International basketball coaching and management

This joint international programme leads to a Master of Sport qualification, training graduates to assess the many basketball coaching and management systems found across European countries, apply advanced coaching technologies, and connect practical coaching experience with recognised training and learning models grounded in interdisciplinary science. Modules cover basketball coaching science, basic and advanced technical and tactical performance clinics, applied physiology, nutrition and neurobiology for basketball, performance analysis and technological support, and skill acquisition and applied psychology in basketball, alongside a professional basketball placement and a thesis, with electives in basketball coaching concepts, strength and conditioning, and basketball management and innovation. It builds the ability to design and implement basketball research projects, interpret and disseminate research data, design training programmes for players of different ages, and critically evaluate basketball trends in their social, economic and theoretical dimensions, preparing graduates for coaching, player-selection management or research-analyst roles in Lithuania or abroad.
