BA/BS in Nursing

Core subjects include biomedical sciences, fundamentals of clinical skills, community nursing, interprofessional communication, nursing administration, and nursing research methodology, with clinical placements in different hospital departments and healthcare institutions in each year of study. Digital technologies support the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, while practical skills are built directly in healthcare settings through patient care planning grounded in evidence-based knowledge. Learning outcomes include evaluating physiological and pathological processes across healthy and diseased individuals, understanding the general pharmacological effects of drugs, applying nursing theory and models to identify health problems at the individual, group, or community level, and delivering person-centred nursing care in a range of settings. Students also learn to lead a team in coordinating patient care, use information and communication technologies in clinical practice, and plan and deliver health education to promote healthy lifestyles for both well and unwell people.
