The four-year curriculum is organised by year: introductory studies, anatomy, physiology, and psychology in year one; biochemistry, physiotherapy diagnosis, biomechanics, and the first clinical practice in year two; neurologic physiotherapy, massage, and motor control in year three; and rehabilitation, geriatric and paediatric physiotherapy, and obstetric and gynaecological physiotherapy in the final year, alongside further clinical practice. Studies conclude with an Objective Structured Clinical Examination and a bachelor's thesis. Learning outcomes include collecting and interpreting patient information to formulate a physiotherapy diagnosis, drawing up an individual intervention plan, selecting appropriate physiotherapy theories and methods, and periodically evaluating and adjusting treatment. Graduates also learn to advise patients and other professionals, follow relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards, and carry out and present research in physiotherapy. The affiliated nursing faculty offers a related second-cycle programme in health promotion and rehabilitation for those who continue to graduate study.
