BA/BS in Artificial Intelligence Technologies

This programme prepares artificial-intelligence specialists grounded in computer science and data science, able to design, build and evaluate AI solutions that address digitalisation, process automation and data-driven decisions within organisations. Study areas include programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, discrete mathematics and statistics, computer networks, operating systems, information-systems design, big-data analytics, computer vision, natural-language processing, cloud computing for AI, and software-systems engineering, together with AI ethics and law and two applied AI projects. Students learn to explain algorithm-design principles, analyse information systems and apply machine- and deep-learning methods to tasks such as language processing, design AI solution architecture and select appropriate platforms, and evaluate the reliability and security of AI solutions while applying professional ethics. Teaching uses problem-based learning, case studies, pair programming and project-based work, graded cumulatively with a final thesis defended before an assessment committee. A thirty-credit internship completes the practical training.
