The degree prepares students for management positions across the international hospitality industry, building knowledge of running hotels and restaurants alongside the tools needed to grow a hospitality business. Study areas span hotel and restaurant operations, food and beverage practice, marketing and event management for the hospitality sector, along with accounting, human-resource and service-operations management, financial analysis, tourism integration, and crisis and security planning, next to general subjects in economics, communication and entrepreneurship. Students learn to monitor and analyse the functional activities of hotel or restaurant infrastructure, map processes, plan services around changing guest and market needs, and manage customer experience, marketing and event activities for local and international guests. Teaching combines lectures, small-group work, case studies, guest lectures and project-based assignments, with academic achievement judged through a mix of collegial peer assessment, defended projects and a final thesis on a ten-point scale.
