BA/BS in Cybersecurity Technologies

This programme prepares cybersecurity specialists able to build secure software, explore new applications of computer systems, and design data-protection solutions against cyber threats. Study areas include programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, mathematics, computer networks and their administration, operating systems and virtualisation, cryptography, network security, secure and web programming, databases and information protection, cloud-computing security, and information-security management and law, together with two applied projects on cybersecurity analysis and vulnerability testing. Students learn the theoretical foundations of networking, operating systems and cryptography, apply AI methods to security problems, analyse an organisation's information systems to identify risks, and manage incidents through penetration testing and intrusion detection. Teaching uses problem-based learning, case analysis, pair programming and project-based work, graded cumulatively with a defended final thesis. Three internships totalling thirty credits provide practical experience, preparing graduates to protect organisational data and digital assets.
