Cert in Norsk (nordisk)

This one-year programme gives a general introduction to the main literary genres and to language knowledge, with focus on the relationship between language and society. Students gain understanding of how language and text function in different contexts, and analyse texts in their cultural and historical settings. The programme covers literature from three periods and is studied part-time. The year suits those who wish to become Norwegian teachers or who want to use subject knowledge in information work, press and publishing. It can be credited toward the bachelor programme in language and literature at the same college.
