Master of Science in Actuarial and Risk Analytics

This one-year full-time master's programme is run by Nanyang Business School and brings together actuarial science, sustainability and the management of risk. It is designed for graduates with strong analytical ability who are interested in insurance, finance and risk, including the risks that arise from climate change. The syllabus and assessment approach follow Society of Actuaries standards, and teaching is led by certified actuaries and risk specialists who bring real-world case studies into class. The school's actuarial master's programme carries Society of Actuaries accreditation, and graduates may go on to seek professional credentials in risk management. Because the programme is based in Singapore, a regional financial centre, students gain access to industry engagement and international networks. Applicants need a strong first degree in any field, and prior work experience is not required. Entry is competitive, and meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee a place.
