Master of Science in Applied Materials Analytics

This coursework master's degree from NTU's materials science and engineering school responds to employer demand for expertise in diagnosing, characterising and analysing failures in materials. It is delivered full-time, with intakes in January and August, and the minimum full-time candidature is one year. Students complete 30 Academic Units, made up of 10 units of core courses and 20 units of electives, and the default route is coursework only. An optional dissertation route is open to those who choose it. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is needed to graduate. Applicants usually hold an engineering bachelor's degree or an equivalent in a related discipline. Candidates with strong polytechnic training in a closely related area such as applied materials analytics, together with substantial relevant work experience, are also considered. Non-native English speakers submit TOEFL or IELTS results, and GRE scores are not needed.
