Diploma in Common Arts, Media & Design Programme

This common programme in arts, media and design is for students drawn to the creative industries who have not yet chosen a specialisation. The polytechnic's school for arts, media and design technology offers a cross-disciplinary curriculum with hands-on experience in several creative fields so students can identify their interests and strengths. Students can explore different specialisations and related careers before choosing among four diplomas offered by the school, one of which, the Diploma in Design, offers three majors. They have up to a year to decide, and a diploma can be selected after the second semester, with options including Arts & Entertainment Production Management. Admission to the polytechnic depends on academic merit and on available places. Common programmes give students a structured way to compare fields before committing to one.
