Diploma in Common Business Programme

The Common Business Programme helps students who are interested in business or hospitality but have not chosen a diploma. It is shared by the School of Business and the School of Hospitality and builds a general business foundation through accounting, economics and marketing modules. Students may take up to a year to decide. After the first semester they can enter Business, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Human Resource Management with Psychology or Consumer Insights & Psychology directly. Alternatively they can join the Business Cluster or the Hospitality Cluster and choose a diploma after the second semester; the Hospitality Cluster leads to Restaurant & Culinary Management, Hotel & Leisure Management or Events & Project Management. Beginning in the second year, students study modules allocated to their chosen diploma in either school.
