Diploma in Engineering

The Diploma in Engineering from the School of Engineering is a broad programme built around design, coding, data analysis and the Industrial Internet of Things. Students then specialise in one of three majors: Sustainable Technology, Project Management or Innovation & Design. The course is aimed at students who see themselves as design engineers, project managers or sustainability technology specialists. They can choose supply chain management, automation, business processes and programming modules to match their interests, and add a business or entrepreneurship minor. A one-year internship programme is also available as an option. Students finish with a project module and an industry immersion placement, moving toward engineering careers that are in demand, whichever major they have followed. The mix of engineering design, project skills and sustainability knowledge gives graduates several routes to choose from.
