Diploma in Common Science Programme

The Common Science Programme lets students explore several scientific disciplines before committing to a diploma. The first year follows the same curriculum as the other science diplomas, with taster modules that give practical contact with the foundations of science, and it looks at technological advances, AI and sustainability. The Diploma Exposure Programme offers course sharings, talks by alumni and hands-on activities, and an Education and Career Guidance curriculum spread over two semesters helps students decide. Before the second year begins, students choose to study Perfumery and Cosmetic Science, Food Science and Technology, Biomedical Science or Applied Chemistry for the following two years. Chemical and life sciences help explain how things work, from the human body to the environment. Elective modules can be grouped into one of six minors.
