BA/BS in Chimie

The bachelor in chemistry covers general, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, including quantum approaches, along with materials chemistry, spectroscopy, analytical chemistry and biochemistry. Students learn to design and transform molecules through hands-on experimentation, and practical work forms a large share of the programme. Laboratory training takes up 30% of study time in the first year and rises to 50% in the second and third years. The first three semesters are shared with the biochemistry bachelor. The programme runs for 6 semesters, carries 180 ECTS credits and gives access to masters in chemistry, biochemistry, environmental sciences, neurosciences and chemical biology.
