AA/AS in Building/Construction Finishing, Management, and Inspection

Hartnell College's Construction Management and Architecture offering builds a foundation in managing construction projects and in architectural studies. Students gain technical knowledge and hands-on skills, along with an introduction to sustainable design and drafting. The program awards an Associate in Science and prepares students either for entry-level architectural roles or for transfer to a university. A program map guides course planning. Related careers range from managing building projects and architecture to urban planning, contracting, facility management, and inspection. Program specialists for Agriculture, Business and Industries are available at the Alisal Campus and the Castroville Education Center. The program page links a program map and career information for each credential, and the college encourages students to contact the listed staff when they want help comparing options, planning their schedule, or deciding between entering the workforce and transferring.
