Cert in Hospitality Administration/Management

Advanced Hospitality Management is a Certificate of Achievement meant for students who already have some grounding in the industry and want to move toward supervisory and leadership work. The curriculum looks at how hotels function, how gatherings and events are planned, and how guests are looked after from arrival to departure. Students study the human side of management, including directing a team and improving the experience of the people being served. They also examine the demands of larger or more complicated operations, where food service, safety practices, and computer applications all play a part. The program aims to prepare graduates for roles that carry real responsibility, including food and beverage director, hotel manager, and event coordinator. Learners who have been working in restaurants, lodging, or events can use it to formalize what they know and to show employers that they are ready to take on a management position within a hospitality organization.
