AA/AS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technologies/Technicians

The electrical option within the engineering transfer offerings prepares students to continue toward a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. It leads to an associate degree in science and is built for students planning to transfer. Coursework applies mathematics and physics to practical problems, shows how products are developed from research to production, and introduces the ethical responsibilities of designers. Admittance is open, but incoming students are expected to have completed pre-calculus. The engineering transfer program is MassTransfer-compliant, though students should verify eligibility with a participating state university. Massasoit lists additional engineering degree options for students who want a different specialty.
