AA/AS in Criminal Justice and Corrections

This transfer pathway gives students a wide look at how policing, corrections and the courts fit together. Learners practice reasoning through problems, weighing ethical choices and communicating clearly. The degree is built to move smoothly into a four-year institution, where students can continue toward advanced study. It also prepares graduates for work in policing, probation, parole or legal services. The program totals 60 credits and awards an Associate of Science. Prospective students can review program details, cost information and faculty listings on the program page before applying. The field offers a way to serve the community, and the broad coursework helps students choose between direct employment and further study at a university. Advisors and faculty can help applicants map out coursework that fits their goals.
