Overview
Brandon University's Certificate in Business Administration provides a foundation in general management, accounting, finance, marketing, and human resource management for students with minimal or no prior business background. The certificate consists of 30 credit hours, normally completed over two terms; students who have not completed Accounting 30S or 40S (or equivalent) first take a bookkeeping course and complete 33 credit hours over three terms instead. Core courses include principles of economics, financial accounting, business communications, marketing, finance, human resource management, management principles, business law, and a choice of one statistics course. All courses are offered on campus, in person. Issued by the Faculty of Arts, the certificate can be completed as a stand-alone credential or laddered into an undergraduate degree at Brandon University.
