Admission Requirements: Applicants need English Studies 12 at 67% or equivalent (Category 2, also met by IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 4.5 with no section below 3.5, PTE Academic 60, Duolingo 120, or CAEL 70, per BCIT's institution-wide English Language Proficiency page) and should be proficient using computers; no portfolio, interview or standardized entrance test beyond the language requirement is specified. BCIT strongly encourages attending an information session before applying. Applicants are accepted on a first-qualified basis as long as space remains. International students need a valid BCIT study permit, and everyone enrolled must complete the mandatory work component to qualify for graduation.
