This AEC updates the civil-security knowledge of professionals already working in related roles, such as firefighters, police officers, paramedics, security agents, or civil-security staff in municipalities, government bodies, hospitals, or transportation. It responds to the growing civil-security responsibilities municipalities and public organizations have taken on amid climate-related emergencies. The curriculum consists of four courses: Introduction a la securite civile, Planification en securite civile au Quebec, Communication en contexte de securite civile, and Leadership et deploiement, combining full-scale simulations, use of an emergency-coordination centre, and practical exercises with first responders and correctional agents. Graduates earn a diploma recognizing accreditations required by Quebec's ministere de la Securite interieure. The programme runs 2 sessions (10 months / 300 hours), is delivered 100% online with evening and weekend scheduling, begins in the fall, and enrols up to 32 students per cohort.
