This AEC trains students in construction-cost estimating: differentiating building materials, evaluating construction techniques, estimating material and labour costs and project timelines, preparing bids, and planning construction-project stages. The 1,650-hour curriculum covers construction, estimating, drafting, and project-based courses, and uses industry software including Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, measurement tools, and estimating software, alongside a 195-hour workplace-integration internship in the fourth session. The programme runs 2 years over 4 sessions, has no enrolment cap, and is delivered online or in class; a personal laptop is required. It begins in the fall. Graduates typically work as estimators or project managers for general or specialized contractors, estimating firms, engineering or architecture firms, government bodies, insurers, or property managers. CNDF reports an 88% employment rate for recent graduates of the programme.
