This technical Diploma of College Studies (DEC) trains students in building estimation and evaluation, with a specialization in construction estimation. Students learn to analyze construction projects, take quantity measurements of products and materials, and determine project costs, using professional software including Revit/BIM and AutoCAD. The programme includes 1,650 hours of estimation-specific coursework across construction, estimating, drafting, and project-management courses, and concludes with a 195-hour integration internship in the final session. The regular pathway runs six sessions delivered on campus; an accelerated four-session pathway combining online and in-class delivery at the student's choice is also offered, for students who have already completed their college-level general-education courses. Graduates are prepared for estimator and related roles in the construction industry.
