BA/BS in Psychology is a bachelor's degree in Psychology programme offered by Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. The programme is delivered on campus. Tuition for international students is CAD 36,979 per year (CAD 7,624 per year for local students).
This program leads to a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, offered in honours and non-honours versions on the Ottawa campus. Core coursework covers introductory psychology, research methods and statistics, and a sequence of topic-area and senior-level courses, supplemented by electives in the social sciences and humanities; content spans neuroscience, cognition, learning, and the analysis of criminal behaviour as they relate to thoughts, emotions, and behaviour. Students can choose one of five concentrations: Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Health Psychology, or Social/Personality Psychology, and a Mental Health and Well-Being pathway is also available. Applied learning options include a co-op program, practicum courses, and volunteering in psychology research labs. The program is delivered in person and is open to Canadian and international students. It suits students planning careers or further study related to mental health, education, human resources, or research, and the concentration structure lets them focus on a particular area of psychology within the broader degree.
