Réseaux et cybersécurité is a technical Diploma of College Studies (DEC, code 420.B0) at Cégep de l'Outaouais, completed over six sessions (three years) at Campus Gabrielle-Roy with Fall-term intake and roughly 75 places per cohort, with the possibility of a third group. The program trains students to interconnect, install, configure, and secure an organization's computing equipment, including servers, workstations, and connected devices, along with cloud services, resource and communications sharing, data hosting, and telephony systems. Coursework covers network infrastructure and local-area networking, Windows and Linux server administration (intranet and internet), routing and switching, scripting and automation, offensive and defensive cybersecurity, and enterprise network implementation, using Cisco and open technologies in simulated and virtualized environments. Students complete a full-time work-term placement during the sixth session, and the program is part of the Government of Canada's Post-Secondary Cooperative Education/Internship Program. Graduates work in network operations, cybersecurity firms, financial institutions, hospitals, government agencies, and computer product retailers.
