Techniques de l'informatique, Programmation et securite profile (DEC 420.B0), is a three-year, six-session technical diploma at Cegep de l'Outaouais on the Gabrielle-Roy campus. Students learn to analyze client requirements and build complete web and mobile applications, from planning and modelling through coding and testing, while implementing security strategies to protect infrastructure and data. Coursework includes programming logic and object-oriented programming, network and server infrastructure, database design and exploitation, web development in PHP and ASP.NET, mobile application development, connected-object integration and application and web security. The program includes an integrative project course in the fifth session that responds to a real client's needs and a full-time workplace internship in the final, sixth session. It participates in the Government of Canada's postsecondary co-operative education and internship program, and graduates work in private enterprises, financial institutions, hospitals and municipal, provincial or federal public administration; interinstitutional agreements support transfer toward university study. Admission Requirements: Particular admission conditions (Cégep de l'Outaouais' own program page, Campus Gabrielle-Roy): Mathématiques CST 5e secondaire or TS/SN 4e secondaire, or Math 436 as the equivalent. Capacity: 75 students. Program length: 6 sessions (3 years). For international applicants, admission runs through SRAM: candidates applying from outside Canada are considered for the Fall session only (application deadline 14 March) and need an average of at least 3.7 on the Bright French test, while those already in Canada on temporary status apply as regular candidates (recommended deadlines 1 March for Fall entry and 1 November for Winter entry) and need at least 3.5. The French test is mandatory in every DEC program at Cégep de l'Outaouais, even for candidates already schooled in French. Domestic applicants must hold a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES), or a Diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) with the required secondary courses, or training the college judges equivalent, and apply through admission.sram.qc.ca.

Cégep de l'Outaouais accepts international applicants for the Fall intake only: the college's FAQ fixes the international deadline at 14 March of the admission year, i.e. 14 March 2027 for Fall 2027 entry, and it publishes no winter international deadline. Admission is rolling round to round within SRAM's system until each round's seats are filled, but the international date is firm. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
