Techniques de travail social is a technical DEC preparing students to work with individuals, families, groups, and communities facing difficult social and personal circumstances, with an emphasis on intervention, prevention, and active collaboration with community partners. Admission Requirements: Travail social's admissions page states no course prerequisite beyond the college's general secondary-diploma requirement. Applicants qualify with a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) from the youth or adult sector, or a Diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) plus passes in fifth-secondary language of instruction, fifth-secondary second language and fourth-secondary mathematics, or training the Cégep judges equivalent. No distinct English- or French-language test score is set; language ability is covered by those fifth-secondary language courses.
