Overview
Design de mode is a technical DEC (Diploma of College Studies) program offered through the École de mode at Cégep Marie-Victorin, one of the only public cégeps in Quebec to offer a full suite of fashion programs alongside Commercialisation de la mode and Production de la mode. Admission Requirements: This DEC programme's own admission page defers to Cégep Marie-Victorin's general Diploma of College Studies requirements, with no additional course-specific prerequisite for Design de mode. Candidates qualify by holding a Diplome d'etudes secondaires (DES) from the youth or adult sector, or a Diplome d'etudes professionnelles (DEP) with passes in Secondary 5 language of instruction, Secondary 5 second language and Secondary 4 mathematics, or training the Cegep judges equivalent. Applicants must also meet any Ministry-set subject prerequisites, the College's own admission conditions for the programme, the Cegep's admission policy and Reglement no. 12 on academic success.
