Science, Computer Science, and Mathematics (SCSM) is a pre-university Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC, program code 200.C1) at Champlain College Lennoxville, scheduled to begin Fall 2027. The program prepares students for university-level study in computer science, mathematics, engineering, and physics. It shares most of its course load with the Science (200.B1) program but removes optional courses and biology courses, and reduces chemistry coursework, replacing them with additional computer science and mathematics courses. As a pre-university credential, the program leads to direct entry into Quebec university programs in computing, mathematics, engineering, and physics rather than to immediate employment, and groups students with shared technical interests together for the duration of their studies. The program includes peer tutoring workshops and a yearly series of invited guest speakers as part of its co-curricular activities, giving students additional exposure to science and technology careers alongside coursework.
