The Information Technology Auditing & Assurance Certificate at York University is a professional certificate offered by the School of Information Technology within the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, focused on IT compliance and assurance practice. As with other School of Information Technology professional certificates, at least 21 of the credits used to satisfy certificate requirements must be additional to those used to satisfy a degree, and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 4.00 is required to satisfy certificate requirements. The certificate can be entered concurrently with a degree, consecutively after a degree, or directly, and is studied full-time, with study sessions offered in the Fall, Winter and Summer terms. Current York University students apply with a certificate application form submitted to the School of Information Technology; new applicants must first meet the university's general minimum requirements for admission through the Office of Admissions.
