Construction/Industrial Electrician at College of the North Atlantic is a 37-week certificate program training students to install, alter, and maintain electrical systems that provide heat, light, power, control, signals, or fire alarms in buildings and structures. Admission Requirements: Direct entry accepts High School Graduation, Adult Basic Education (Level III) General College Profile with recommended Mathematics (1102/2102/3102 series) and Science (3101-3103) courses, a Trades Bridging Certificate, or the College Transition Certificate; mature students (19+, one year out of school) are assessed individually. English proficiency is not set at programme level and instead follows CNA's institution-wide requirement: IELTS Academic overall band 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79, PTE Academic 53, or Duolingo 105-110, waived after three years of English-medium schooling. The programme notes it may not suit applicants without normal colour perception, given the trade's reliance on colour-coded wiring.

Application Deadline:College of the North Atlantic accepts domestic applications on a rolling, first-come basis with no fixed opening or closing date published for any intake; the college states applications for a program remain open until it is filled, which for competitive programmes such as Practical Nursing can mean the intake closes before the term starts. International applicants apply directly to CNA; for the Fall 2026 intake the college published a closing date of 30 April 2026 (with late applications from students already holding a study permit still considered), but no equivalent Fall 2027 or Winter 2027 international date has yet been posted. Admission is therefore effectively rolling for domestic applicants and governed by a single seasonal cutoff, not yet republished, for international ones. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
