Diploma in Accounting and Financial Management

College of the North Atlantic's Accounting and Financial Management program is a three-year diploma delivered on campus at the Prince Philip Drive campus, with exit points along the way: a Business Administration Certificate after the first year and an Accounting Diploma after the second. Students develop the knowledge and skills needed to manage financial information through a mix of theoretical coursework and practical application, including a six-week work placement that provides workplace experience in an accounting or financial setting. Coursework spans financial and managerial accounting, taxation, payroll, and related business subjects, preparing students for further progression toward professional accounting designations. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial administration across public and private-sector organizations in Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond.
