Systems and Network Administration is a two-year diploma at College of the North Atlantic that trains students to design, install, secure, and manage computer systems and networks. Coursework covers hardware, software, servers, cloud technologies, and network security, building the hands-on skills organizations need to maintain IT infrastructure and resilience. The program concludes with a 15-week work term in the final semester, giving students applied industry experience before graduation, and is delivered on-campus at the Corner Brook and Prince Philip Drive campuses through the School of Business & Information Technology. Admission is normally through Provincial High School Graduation with a 60 percent overall average including English 3201, four Mathematics credits, and five credits at the 3000 level, a College Transition Certificate, Adult Basic Education (Level III) graduation, or mature student status. Graduates are prepared for roles supporting and administering organizational computer systems and networks. The program begins each September.
