Overview
This Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Economics, delivered through Concordia's John Molson School of Business, takes an applied approach to studying how society, politics, and the environment interact with business. Students analyze data to understand economic problems and develop business strategies and organizational tactics to address them, combining core business coursework with economics theory and applied analysis. Full-time study takes a minimum of three to four years (90-120 credits), depending on the student's academic background, with classes on the Sir George Williams campus and admission in the Fall or Winter term. Graduates pursue roles such as economic analyst, policy analyst, financial analyst, and consultant, or continue to graduate study in economics or business.
