Blockchain Application Development is a one-year, two-term Ontario College Graduate Certificate at Conestoga College's Waterloo campus. The program equips students to develop and implement decentralized applications using blockchain technology, covering smart contract development, blockchain system architecture, full-stack development, security practices and regulatory frameworks. Learning is applied through real-world projects and team-based case studies. Admission requires a prior Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma or degree in a technology field such as computing, engineering, IT or applications development with an overall average of B or above; applicants may alternatively qualify with three to five years of professional software development experience, or with a diploma, advanced diploma or degree in another field combined with at least five years of IT systems or network administration experience and an overall average of B or above.
