This DESS (postgraduate specialized diploma) in urban infrastructure management prepares engineers and other professionals to plan, maintain, and manage municipal and civil infrastructure assets such as roads, water systems, and public structures. The 30-credit program combines five mandatory courses (15 credits) with either three elective courses and a six-credit technical project, or five elective courses without a project, plus two mandatory workshops. Courses cover asset management, urban planning, infrastructure economics, and related technical and managerial topics, and are offered during the day, evening, and in some intensive formats, with full-time and part-time study options. The normal duration is four semesters full-time or eight semesters part-time, with a maximum of five and ten semesters respectively. Instruction is in French. Students who meet the required grade threshold can transfer credits toward the Master's in Engineering with an urban infrastructure management concentration.
