Overview
In this stream of the part-time Bridging program, you will take two courses per semester and can complete the full program in one year. A 1-course-per-semester stream is also available. All courses are online except the final 7-hour Field Preparation course, which is held at the Sutherland Campus in Peterborough. Eligible students who successfully complete their program can apply for direct entry into the second semester of the full-time Fleming College Practical Nursing program.

Admission Requirements: Admission is via completion of a recognized Ontario Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate, with a minimum average of 65% across all PSW certificate courses. Completing this bridging programme does not guarantee a seat in the full-time Practical Nursing programme: successful applicants wait at least one further semester before being considered for it, and places are then offered first-come, first-served against limited availability. The programme page sets no language requirement of its own, so Fleming's institution-wide English proficiency standard for diploma and certificate programmes applies: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80, Duolingo English Test 105, or PTE Academic 46, or completion of Level 8 of Fleming's own English Language Bridge programme.
