The curriculum covers child development, child and youth care methodology, treatment approaches, diversity in practice, therapeutic activities and family ecology, alongside a supervised practicum. Graduates are prepared to work collaboratively with children, youth and families across school-based, treatment-based, early-intervention, child-protection and youth-justice settings. Three positions per intake year are reserved for qualified Canadian Indigenous applicants in the program's Child & Youth Care specialization.
