Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Lakehead's graduate minimum: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80 overall with no component below 19, PTE Academic 58 overall with no component below 50, Duolingo 120 overall with no subscore below 115, or CAEL 60 overall. Admission also requires the mutual agreement of a faculty supervisor and confirmed funding before an application is considered; applications without a supportive supervisor are typically rejected.
