BA/BS in Behavioural Neuroscience

Behavioural Neuroscience is an Honours Bachelor of Science offered on campus at Laurentian University over four years. The program combines psychology and biology to study human and animal behaviour from a neurobiological perspective, examining how brain structure and function relate to cognition, emotion, and behaviour. Coursework spans neuroanatomy, physiological psychology, and research methods alongside laboratory-based study of nervous system function. Graduates pursue further study in neuroscience, psychology, or health sciences, as well as careers in research and health-related fields. Admission for Ontario high school applicants requires Grade 12 English, Grade 12 Advanced Functions, two Grade 12 U science courses (or one science and one math), and two other Grade 12 U/M courses, with a minimum overall average of 70% across the six best Grade 12 U/M courses. Alternative admission pathways exist for international, out-of-province, transfer, and mature student applicants.
